About DocuFix

What this site is

DocuFix resizes and compresses images so they match what an application portal asks for. It covers passport and visa photos, and the photo and signature uploads used by Indian recruitment and entrance exam forms. There are 11 formats, plus a custom size tool for anything not covered.

Who runs it

DocuFix is built and operated by Kartikeya Mishra, an independent software developer. It is a one-person project, not a company. There is no team page because there is no team.

How the tools work

Your file is read into the page, decoded, drawn onto an HTML canvas at the target dimensions, and re-encoded as a JPEG. A search runs over the encoder quality to land the file inside the size band the portal asks for, rather than merely under its ceiling.

All of that runs on your device. No request carries the image anywhere. The full explanation, including what this does not protect you from.

What this site is not

DocuFix is not affiliated with any government, embassy, examination authority, university or immigration authority, and it has no relationship with the portals it helps you prepare files for. It cannot guarantee your application will be accepted. It matches dimensions and file size; head position, background, expression and lighting are judged by the portal or by a person.

How it is funded

The tools are free. Where advertising is shown, it is Google AdSense, and it loads only after you accept cookies. Nothing derived from your image is ever part of that — the image does not enter a network request at all.
